Can't find super hits? 11/26 Well...That Happened on Wednesday!

Yup, sure was Data Jam. I had to read the TO for no other reason than to reminisce. Good times.

So should I even bother emailing Crowd Task or what? I've never been in mass rejection scenario before.

 

Ahhhhhh! Apparently I did more than two. I just got more. Looks like it will only be 8 total now so still a drop in the hat compared to some. Still hurts though.

 

If I had to guess, I would say they discovered people were submitting the broken HITs (because, hey, why not put up a huge batch of work, then walk away from your email and ignore the workforce trying to tell you your batch is broken?), so they rejected everything and this new batch may be their attempt to start from scratch.

Whatever happened, the blame lies squarely with the requester.

You can count me as another mass reject victim. Only did about 20 from the first batch (all URLs found, no Yelp sites, no NA), so it won't hurt much, luckily.

Time for some rejection gifs to make us feel better.

 

for sure. I always message a requester if there's an issue. They can't help you if they don't know you're having an issue.

 

I'd be okay with them rejecting all from the second batch honestly. Not the ones that worked for us though,.

I agree. And it shows an even bigger lack of quality control. I did not do the bad batch, I did the batch before it, that was fine. @46 rejects, so far....

Probably just safe to assume they're going to reject all 120,000whatever hits they had up during the first round.

Edit: On the plus side, about $30 worth of Woods approved overnight, so that's good at least.

 

Not that anyone suspected otherwise, but I certainly did NOT do any of their broken HITs. Nor do I know anyone from this forum who would have done them.

I'm just lucky that I'm still right at 99.0%

 

At 184 rejects and counting, should be at 99.4% when it's over, I'm definitely emailing Amazon and Crowd Task as well.

Personally I blame andybass.

Amazon is so weighted in favor of the requesters it's sad. I'd be surprised if Amazon did anything but I hope I'm wrong.

 

I didn't do any of the hits, but wanted you to know how very nice it is of you to help fellow turkers. When a Requester has the ability to randomly reject valid work they don't realize or obviously care what it can do to someones livelihood. You are a very very kind person!

 

You know what I was just thinking.. we need to get the STOP COLLECTOR in on investigating this great Crowd Task issue... If Sergei Lemberg can't do it, no one can!!! He said in all of his youtube ads the call is free right? lol
