Decent morning for me, then I slept all day too. But, I dreamed of MTurk. I had those weird, boring, but vivid dreams that seem so realistic that you wonder if that happened yesterday, or if you dreamed it. I dreamed there were Rubins, and those Jian Jin plant counting hits, and CrowdFlower Indicate which of two speech hits, and mfuze....
Here are my general goals.(doesn't mean I meet them) m-f $30-$50 sat+sun=$30-$40 I find them amounts to be achievable given you put in the required effort. Might kill yourself for 10 hours one day to make $50 and another day make $50 in a few hours.. So many factors.
I usually try to do $20 during the week and $30 during the weekend. It all just depends on how many hours I work at my real job.

I swear this isn't directed at you, and it may sound dickish even though that's not my intention. Just an observation on something since I've been here, which albeit isn't long, but... I honestly see this question, or a variation of "How do you do it? What do you do? How can I make this much?" almost every single day since I've been a regular. And the answers are almost always the same. "(Insert popular batch here) all day, but now it's gone" "(Insert flavor of the day writing requester here) few hours" "CS Top Tier Writing" "Transcribe Transcribe Transcribe" "Side work pays me a lot gg etc" "pay me" And the kind of question is honest and it's true, everyone wants to make that much. But I think the only real answer anyone is going to give you that's just not blowing you off, is the answer you find after you've worked a shit ton. It's not what you do per se, but how you're doing it. You get faster, you stop spending so much time searching, chatting, doing long surveys, etc. and you build your skill set, reach out to interesting opportunities that present themselves, and above all else work your ass off like you have no life. There's no secret, easy method for earning that much, otherwise everyone would be doing it. I guess the point is just, you develop your skills, you get faster, you gain experience, and then by the time you've done all that, you're the veteran and the turk world has turned over again, and people are asking you how it's done. And to be honest, I feel like I'm doing at least moderately well so far for no more effort and time than I'm legitimately putting in. Also, that reject was my first fucking HIT that I submitted ever. /sadface
Not dickish at all. Your thinking there is why I have written so many guides and have many more in the works. There is no simple single answer. I just try to point people in the right direction and encourage them to learn. I offer information I think might help. Try to show how I attack things. What tools I use and how I use them. Some people are talented transcribers but don't know it yet. (LOL) Some like batch hits that move fast. Some like it slow like a survey. Hell... if I can help one person do better in this hellscape Amazon calls Mturk I believe I have done well.
