That would be awesome, but probably not doable because the scripts aren't in javascript and can't be easily embedded into hits. It's autohotkey which can run differently on different computers (and on some computers not at all) and really just helps copy/paste links faster
Perfect. Well, if you think of more brilliant solutions like this, let me know. ETA: upon re-read that sounds kind of sarcastic, but it's 100% sincere
Quick question, what are you all doing for organizations that have ambiguous names. I have one now named Recreate. I am getting all sorts of definition sites of that word, but none that are organization sites.
Unfortunately when that's the case, I don't think there's much you can do but hit n/a and move on. This is a problem we run into when we run through this process in-house.
Some work on the forum has led to a slight improvement of the hit and the newest best example as of my posting is http://mturkforum.com/showthread.ph...y-Wednesday!&p=1155494&viewfull=1#post1155494 . The modifiactions really only deal for the very few cases where the website on the search already has a http;// in the search result address.
OCMP34 There is someone scamming the Retrieve Donor list batch. I got a bunch of extracts where the link is to random google links. I put in the comments of those "No donor list, only google link" so you can see who is doing that.
What does this change? I got comfortable with the script and I'm kind of scared to tinker with it OCMP- out of curiosity, how big is the project? Have you posted 5% or 50%...?
OK so you know how some links will be in the form http://www.magic.com on the google search prompt if you highlight that with the original script you'll end up turning in http://http://www.magic.com with the double http:// this edit will fix that problem.
Hey man if you have the extract PandA can I grab it from you. Also how much do they pay now didn't see them yesterday.
Would it be possible for you to add in the state that the organization is located in? I think that would help us narrow down the results when multiple organizations come up.
Sure. I can't make that kind of edit until the next batch, but right now it's all either California or Tennessee (I do them by state).
This is bizarre because turkers are working on them and my progress bar is gradually increasing. Let me check if something is malfunctioning.
Do you know what they're referencing when they say "panda"? It's probably ok- they're probably just being snatched up by workers before they show up for everyone else. Those workers might have a queue full of them. If they're trickling in (even a heavy tricky), that's probably what's happening.
Maybe just put that in the title of the next batch? Then we have the info but it's not cluttering up the fields we need to be looking at.
It's actually in the title on my end... but I think you only see the name of the campaign, and the "title" I see is an internal thing. But anyway, this is an easy fix. Seconds.
