I should also wear a bustier. Everyone knows that screams "evil." Also, making literary references in a forum no one is reading would qualify as evil. I'm a little rusty on my Dostoyevsky. I'm good with Hemingway and Jane Austen.

And I always find this Hemingway quote to be inspiring when I'm doing an "e-cig" or Tyler Quick rewrite:

Okay, perhaps "typewriter" should be changed to "computer," but you catch my drift.

There just isn't enough evil in the Elizabeth/Wickham/Darcy/Colonel thing...and too much commitment in the Santiago/Giant Marlin relationship...Brett/Romero hits the exact timbre I'd imagine.

 

This is so hilarious it's obnoxious, I wonder what kind of 'e-cig write up' Hemingway would produce?

I just imagine Sean Connery sitting in a corner of the room yelling 'You're the man now, dog!", repeatedly. Whatever works, I guess.
