Brain picking time. I'm looking for something that will assure me that Utorrent isn't using my personal IP after setting up this VPN. I've been to my VPN site and to Whatsmyip and both tell me that I'm good to go but I'm still nervous. I don't understand why Utorrent doesn't have something in the interface to tell users this. Seems so simple to add.

why do you care even if your IP knows you use utorrent...do you get DMCA notices or something?

I used to get DCMA notices.

I started using PeerBlock and haven't had one since.

I use this for all torrenting and haven't set up a VPN yet. Haven't found a good free one to use for botting

 

type "find my ip" into google. It will tell you your public IP address. If that is different from your assigned one (by your provider), you are good to go.

 

for that lottery thing.. i was planning on doing the first one at 5pm Eastern... should I have gotten an invite by now? it starts in 15 minutes...
