I'm looking at the 10 day forecast and trying to decide if I'll be able to turn my AC off anytime soon. lol

 

Approving almost instantly.

 

I see no day out of the 50s and lows of 40s each for the next 10 days. It was 78 the other day and then bam... hello fall. lol But, I'm not paying that bill yet so we can all be chilly.

 

I miss fall - if I could get back to WI just for a few weeks every October I would.

 

Some of them stated it took 20+ minutes for $1. Just curious as to what recent experiences were.

 

Yeah as much as I hate winter, I do love having 4 seasons. Fall could last longer but it's so freaking pretty. Last year it was colder earlier so our leaves were all changed sooner, and the pretty didn't last as long. Looks like we'll have a pretty October this year though Did you go up to Devil's Lake. We like to go hiking up there in the fall and it's gorgeous.

 

Yeah - my parents lived in the Dells area when I was in college - just gorgeous. Now they moved 2 hours north of Eau Claire on a lake - it's so beautiful - BUT she's already had her heat on for days!

I remember having mine turned on "to get the chill out" on the 1st day of school last year. It's only been on once this year so far and that's because the heater was set to a point I guess that kicked on. I bumped it lower and said hell no. Walked in the house and was like "what's that noise?" and then I see the kids flocking to sit in front of the vents haha

 

I love hearing about these temps since we're still in the high 90's here. It's so hard to get into the fall spirit when it's burning up outside. All of the stores have cute hoodies out and I can't buy them cause they will just sit in my closet.

 

If it wasn't for the rain that we have had here for the last two weeks, it would probably be swelteringly hot. It's still humid as hell though thanks to all that rain.
I think our high is supposed to be 66 tomorrow. I am excited.

 

Kind of funny but I had a kid leave a stick of butter out overnight so it could soften up and I said I'd make banana bread while they are at school. Man. There is nothing soft about that butter right now. LOL

 

I would love to have that weather. Its still too warm for me here. I love cold weather
