Well I guess I'm the only one thats going to stick up for him...mainly because I know what he s going through.

Miranda did say he is a good guy when hes clean so I'm sure he isn't a POS that will never change. its the drugs that are making him do this...he doesn't want to.

But its her choice so I'm just trying to say don't just look at it from one side

Well and even if he does change, then that will be awesome but he cannot be allowed to take all of you guys down in the meantime. If he does get real help eventually, then that will be great for him but unfortunately that may come at a time when he's already lost you guys as a family and he'll have to do the hard work to rebuild relationships with his children. Some people do get clean after many years, but it may just come with a great loss but that's just a sad result. You have to do what's best for you and your children NOW. I know it's hard when you know the good person that's underneath the addiction but knowing that doesn't change the current reality and it's just sad all around.

Being a good guy underneath addiction isn't a pass to fuck up other people's lives.

People aren't written off just because they aren't being enabled. There is a huge difference. And I don't speak without my own knowledge into this subject. It's prob way too near and dear to my heart to even get into. My dad died of a drug overdose. My house was raided several times as a child due to drugs. My brother was stabbed 22 times and murdered due to his addiction. When he was 25 years old. My mother almost died due to her addictions. My brother wanted people to rescue him all the time. Bail him out. In the end... he ended up dead anyway. Bailing people out over and over isn't helping them. You can love people without letting them take you down with them.
(and my sister was arrested for selling heroin with fentanyl to a cop back in June and may go to jail for a very long time)

My sister in law is a good person if you can catch her sober. Unfortunately, every time she was being a decent person she was really just acting and trying to get close so she could rob us. She stole and pawned our fucking lawnmower. She allowed her boyfriend to beat and molest her kids. And she never takes any responsibility for anything or even apologizes. It's just been so bad at times that nothing she says or does now can make things better. And she doesn't care enough to work on it or even try. She hasn't even apologized for everything she has done. But also keep in mind she wasn't just smoking some weed or taking some pills. She was shooting up crack and meth for years. She was busted for manufacturing, selling, possession, you name it. And after being locked up for 3 years she doesn't see anything wrong in what she was doing. She blames the cops who busted her. I will never understand the way her mind works. After seeing her at her worst, all I can say is that it is some type of evil force. I'm not religious and don't believe in hocus pocus stuff, but I've watched her do things that just aren't human. Her brain has got to be shot. And after everything her kids have been through with her, its better for them to not be around her. They are both off medication and don't have to see therapist anymore. When they lived with her at her worst the state almost took them away because of the inhumane living conditions and abuse that was going on with them. People treat stray dogs better than she treated her kids. And anytime anyone tried to take them from her, she'd disappear with them for days at a time. Now she just ignores them which seems to be better, even though everyone in the family is bitter over the fact we all are raising her kids while she's out partying and making up for 3 years.

Wow, that's a first. Just got an email from a company whining that I'm not opening their emails, LOL.

Well at least they were polite enough to offer me an unsubscribe notice while hyping up their free shipping on all orders over $75.

I got that once from Martha Stewart. If it'd been from a store, I would have just unsubscribed. but i felt like I was being personally scolded by martha and it guilted me into opening them all in the future.

    Very sorry to hear.

Its a bad situation however you look at it. It is better to not help them if it enables them to do the same thing over and over again.
