Has anyone had any negative experiences with ProductRnR? I know the pay is crap but I'm not finding much to work on at the moment. TO says they take a while to pay but other than that I haven't seen anything bad.
RnR is one of the few requestors that tracks number of their hits that you return. there are scripts for the .05 hits to automatically mark them all good, so you only have to click the ones that are not. look for the "useful scripts" threads elsewhere on this site. I have done hundreds of them on my way to 5k accepted, not so many since then.
Did you know... if you are working in multiple tabs and run into a wall of captchas, you can clear the first one and then just run through the other tabs clicking accept and ignore the captcha altogether. I'd always thought I either had to do the extra captchas or skip to the next HIT so there was no captcha on the page. Oops. Took me 49K HITs to figure that out. Thought I'd share just in case anyone else is missing the obvious in this situation...

The first week I really turked, there were these hits where you called debt collector companies to veify their phone numbers. They were by Sergei Lumberg. I made fifty dollars in a 8 hour day making like 1000 calls and I thought "OMG THIS SERGEI GUY IS THE JACKPOT." For a couple months after that, I wondered why people kept spelling it "Sergey" instead and figured those hits must be snatched up really quick, because people would say Sergey had posted but I never saw the super lucrative batch again and was sooo bummed.. You turk, you learn. Eventually (Also, before I found scraper, I would sort hits by "newest first" and just refresh a bunch. I caught...nothing. haha)
Some more advice that I think goes good with this. When you do a captcha, and you know that you did it right, but it is still making you do another one, just refresh. Usually the captcha passes but the specific HIT you were trying to grab got taken. This saved me so much frustration and 5 minute halts lol
Oh, that makes sense. I always wondered. I noticed it happens when I'm in a batch but not when I grab a survey, so that makes perfect sense. I've had my share of 5 minute halts :\
