I really think tenure is weighed a lot more heavily than people think. Everyone seems to be fixated on hit count, but it's probably only a very small part of the equation.
I'm sure that's at least 1,000 more than the fb cat with masters did today, how can their paws even reach the keyboard?
Oh I know, it is just comical to me, not to say people shouldn't have it, but there should be at least some standards
i got it. i realized when i was searching for vdx panda it was ignoring vdx so i tried doing this "vdx panda" and that did it.
Asus Zenbook, didn't buy it off of Amazon I got mine at Fry's for the same price but was just using it as an analogy to how you might be able to save money on some items with the exchange rate.
What do you intend to use it for? What are you using now? And what is the budget you are comfortable spending? I recommend it, for me, but not for everyone depending on your needs
turking/gaming/not having to buy a new for a while. Maybe $650-700. Using a Dell XPS L501X as my main computer.
I wouldn't recommend it then. It is a slimline laptop optimized for low power consumption and long battery life with good performance (comparable to Macbook Air). Ram, SSD HDD are not upgradeable. I would look for something 5th or 6th Generation i5+, 8GB ram minimum (upgradeable capability) and a good graphics card. Also, a larger HD than the 256GB SSD on the Zenbook. You should be able to find that for $700 shop around
Yeah I was just checking it out. 256GB isn't enough space for me! Good idea about amazon.ca though. I'll be sure to try that out. Thanks
If I had to live with only that much space, it would be a very very difficult life. Hell, one torrent I am seeding is already 65GB. And the other is 125GB. The life of a MST3K fan. Gotta keep spreading those tapes, just digitally now.
I've never needed more than a 128GB SSD for my OS and Programs. I keep everything externally and have never had any issues. Keep in mind, I have hundreds Youtube videos, as well as all of the individual clips for each video recorded at 1080p/36MBps. Probably several TB's of data stored externally
On the subject of laptops, I spent most of the day looking at laptops on Amazon. I guess I'm in the research stages of getting a new one. I don't mind spending $1000+ as long as it has some major balls to it and can last me more than a year or two. I have an HP Envy 17, and I won't get another HP. What's the difference between a 4th, 5th, or 6th generation i7? Also what are everyone's thoughts on Lenovos and Eluktronics (which I'd never heard of before today, and have seen only good reviews on them).
