I haven't tried anything tricky with it so I'm not sure. I mostly watch movies on netflix and amazon prime videos and I have a couple of news channels on it. My parents have cable so I have apps for some channels and I'm able to watch shows using their login. But since frog mentioned hacking, I'm curious now if there's more I could be doing with it

I have a box from comcast for local channels. Wouldn't an antennae be cheaper if all you want is the football games or does the slingbox record so you don't have to watch it live? It didn't look like it does from their website.
