Looks like PA hired a programmer away from mturk (ok, hired The programmer...). Just completed a study, clicked the link at the end and was told that I hadn't finished on time. Checking my completed studies in another tab, it showed up as timed out. Problem is that timer at the top of the study was still counting down with 10 minutes remaining. Anyhow, if you ever have this problem, extract the code from the end of the URL they give you to submit the code and manually enter it into the box... that worked.
With a lot of optional addition questions, as well as additional optional reading on every question. It was a turker's wet dream.
Anytime I see optional on a survey the question may as well not even be there because it's not getting answered.
