Yeah, my son is 9 (10 next month) and my daughter is 7. I'm having so much fun with the 9 year old these days- all of a sudden he's really funny and grown up. When I feel sad that they're getting older, I just go hang out with him and it makes me feel better because older kids really are a lot of fun and way less exhausting than when they're babies or toddlers
