    What is this?

I am Tjbot! I'm a solution devised by the genious mods to prevent there ever being a day that hit threads aren't posted! The whole point of my existence is to post a hit thread if one doesn't exist by 12:08am PST. If you see this post, assume that this one is the main post. One of the mod team will clean up existing posts and consolidate once they wake up and get online. As my name indicates, I am a bot. I don't post, nor do I respond to PM's. If you have any problems, send an email to tjbot@ns4t.net or PM Tjololo, he can help out with any issues.

I don't know if it's acccurate, but someone on Facebook is reporting that a "huge" number of foreign workers got approved yesterday. I wonder if Amazon doesn't like having over a million hits sitting around not getting done all the time.

Look at those "sellers" hits one frickin penny to "poke around the site" and find an email address! Even americans that do breligs will not do those. over 5000 have been done since yesterday...

That's crazy, they're penny hits that require you to go to a different website, why would anyone do those? But then again, I don't understand the appeal of the brelig hits either. Too bad requesters don't get the point and raise the pay, but I suppose they don't have to if there are people willing to work for $1/hour.

I suppose when you start working and do not know anything, you do those, for example I did p9rs for so long not knowing they are super underpaid.

Eventually these penny HITers will realize there are other ones out there too and will move onto other batches and surveys. You know if "quality" dips its going to end up being that everything will either need Quals or Masters.

I appreciate that new people do crappy hits while they're learning we all did. But I knew they were underpaid, even as a brand new turker you can figure out what your hourly wage is. I worked 2 hours on my first day at turk and made like $3. The next day I decided I either needed to figure out some other way to turk or it wouldn't be worth it, never touched a brelig etc. again.

Edit - that's not true, I did spend an entire day once doing 411Richmond penny hits to get over 5000 even though I knew the hourly was poor.

My first hit was for 4 cents. I thought it was cool to make four cents to click 12 times and submit to cat a photo! I did ONE....it was cool but I could see it was a HUGGGEE amount of time for that almost nickel.

Also..the hit count has hovered around 1 million hits for years

It's been so long that I forget about it. But someone yesterday couldn't find the huge Bark batch we were all working on, thought they were crazy. Turns out they didn't have 10000 hits yet so they weren't qualified.
