What is this? Spoiler I am Tjbot! I'm a solution devised by the genious mods to prevent there ever being a day that hit threads aren't posted! The whole point of my existence is to post a hit thread if one doesn't exist by 12:08am PST. If you see this post, assume that this one is the main post. One of the mod team will clean up existing posts and consolidate once they wake up and get online. As my name indicates, I am a bot. I don't post, nor do I respond to PM's. If you have any problems, send an email to tjbot@ns4t.net or PM Tjololo, he can help out with any issues. Want to make tomorrow's thread? Click here to find out how!
Well, dead, indeed. Nobody here but Tara, me and TJ's ghost. Don't get insomnia, and come here to be entertained. You'll be bored to death. Fortunately, I have a good book(er, not That Good Book, even if it is Sunday).

I am thanks! The weather is finally cool so expect me to be complaining about that in a week or two I made some yummy cookies yesterday. I experimented a little with my basic sugar cookie recipe. I substituted half of the granulated sugar with brown sugar and added pumpkin pie spice. They are so good! They taste just like fall!!
Sounds good! My son got a recipe from his teacher for chocolate chip cookies that the teacher brought in for the class. Made it last night and they came out really good! I'm looking forward to the cooler temps too. Been 70 overnights. At least we don't have to use the AC at nights now.
Every day that I don't need the heat or ac I think of the money that's staying in my pocket! My grandson (11) was reading a book where the family made chocolate chip cookies so he figured out what we needed to do to alter my regular recipe and make them. They are so good! They have browned butter in them so they taste a little "caramely". This is my cutie patootie grandson http://sugarcoatednanagrams.com/2015/10/05/nates-browned-butter-chocolate-chip-cookies/
Your grandson is so sweet making these cookies with you! Putting a hole in the lid is brilliant! The cookies look great! I'll have to try that recipe myself one of these days. I've been looking for "that" chocolate chip cookie that I can really enjoy. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Lori! I haven't done a post in awhile. I've been sick and just not in the mood. I'm doing one this week though on the new cookies I made yesterday.
