From my experience working with requesters just starting off, many tend to allow anyone to work on their HITs, then after a few weeks or a month, they hand pick their most accurate workers into a special team. (Andy K, Jack Stone). But not to despair, the SoundCloud and Facebook team only has 9 members each, so either they're the elite teams or the goto teams with room for membership

 

Yeh, I got "hand selected" for the rainc elite indexer qual. I felt really dirty about it because they basically said: "You are really good at watching porn!"
