Yeah, I think that is why I've been lucky so far. I actually do have an adblocker. In fact customized to remove a whole bunch of elements from MTF to simplify/condense it. Including the bar below each post with the reply button. So I disable it to actually post something... which is when I am getting problems today. I'll tweak my settings so that element is back on the page all the time. I want to use it to nuke that annoying "try the new worker website" bar at the top of every damn page on mturk, but I keep the blocker off for the mturk site itself since there are a number of HITs that don't play nice with my ad blocker.
I leave my adblock on all the time in Mturk until I see that I need to turn it off. Sometimes a HIT will mention to turn off adblock or if something doesn't look right, I'll turn it off just for that HIT. It's rare considering how many HITs I open up or do. Because I have it on all the time I don't see that new orange banner on top of mturk. I've switched from adblock to Ublock because it uses less memory. Works just the same.

I've always thought a lot of thought went into the name of that holiday. Trivia: there are only two countries in the world without some kind of "national day" (something reflecting independence, unification, etc) -- Denmark and the United Kingdom. Although the UK is probably "responsible" for a whole bunch of other countries' independence days.
Speaking of which I just got Aw, Snapped by Chrome for lack of memory in the middle of a survey. Task manager says there is a whopping 29 GB of memory available. I don't believe you Google.
I had that Aw Snap from Chrome one day so often for the first time. I figured it was because I had Chrome up for days without closing it or refreshing it. So once I closed it down then re-opened it, it worked just fine after that. I got the feeling that the longer you have Chrome up, the more it has issues and slows down. So now I refresh Chrome once in awhile to keep it running faster.
