Hello! I am sleepy and bored at work so I thought I’d bug y’all.

 

I feel like that's really unfair to choose there's so many worthy of that title. Kind of like being asked to pick your favorite child but in reverse. In my head I can almost see the shitty requesters going well we are bad but at least we aren't so and so after I choose and I want all the mental versions of the MTurk requesters that caused me suffering and pain to feel equally bad about themselves in my fantasies.

 

All 60 of mine got rejected. Thank goodness I didn't do anymore. I went from 30 total rejections & 160k HITs submitted, to 90 total rejections in the blink of an eye. I contacted the requestor hoping this is in error, but not sure if he'll even reply back.

Different batch from yesterday (pay increase by 15 cents woo hoo). It says you can do only one though. If you are worried about rejection if you did the 4 from yesterdays batch I was a little worried about doing a 4th one since I did one from the day before but all 5 approaved so I'm gonna do this one as well.

EDIT: Never mind it wouldn't let me do it so if you accept and it lets you then you should be good.

Hey guys. I'm going to ask a desperate question here... has anyone been getting spammed with two factor authentication codes from Amazon the last week or so? Or ever? It's been happening to me. The only thing that fixes it is changing my password. The only way to REQUEST those codes is to know my password. I reformatted to ensure it wasn't a virus, and have logged into other more lucrative accounts, but only my Amazon is under attack.

Somehow someone is cracking relatively complex passwords in 24 hours each time and creating a nightmare for me. I'm wondering if there's a bad egg in my Mturk scripts, and I'm hoping to narrow this down.

 

Consider yourself lucky. I wasted my time. Did 500 and all 500 were rejected with the same reason. I sent him a message saying I had done over 250k HITs and have never been rejected like this. Told him I followed his HIT instructions to the tee and find it unfair that he could reject every single one without even looking at them.

He replied back a few hours later, pretty much saying they were subjective, but subjective to his instructions and I didn't do them they way he wanted, so he can't use my data. Also said he could care less about his TO. He admitted they were subjective...yet rejected them. Makes a lot of sense. I messaged him back again, asking for clarification on that and he didn't get back to me.

I told him I would understand if I was the only one that been rejected and that I had read the instructions wrong, but that's clearly not the case. They were obviously not as subjective as he made it out to be in the instructions and is punishing us that took them the "wrong way". Or he's just trying to save some money on his end. Who knows. I'm not even angry about the money. Just that I wasted my time. I can take the rejections, but damn. It's crappy.

 

Scary stuff. I wish they had the option for Gauth or a 2fa harware token. I haven't had any problems (yet). I'm only using HIT Scraper WITH EXPORT and MTurk HIT Database Mk.II.
