I think the worst one of these is where they disguise it as needing inquisit and while you're doing the shit potato survey installs an extension/program/script on your PC that adds a small amount of your pc's resources to the mining operation. They pay all of like 2$ in survey money to get upwards of 10,000$ in extra zombie farming.

i just signed out (on mturk not this site) and when i signed in again i noticed something new. it says keep me signed in below the sign in part and the box checks itself. i've seen that on other amazon sign in pages but not mturk. has anybody else seen it and tested to see if it indeed keeps us signed in now? i did a search on these forums and didn't find anything about this.

I haven't logged in days/weeks on both old and new sites now. I used to have to log in every 12 hours which was sometimes annoying. Don't know if that's the same with everyone else.
I didn't really notice the check mark but I'm guessing like you said it was alrady checked the last time I signed in. I haven't had to sign in for weeks now. It's very nice. If I remember correctly MTurk wasn't always sign in every 12 hours when it started and that was implimented later on. I'm sure someone will yell at me if I'm remembering that wrong.
I used to check that box to stay logged in and that never worked for the longest time. I wondered why they bothered putting that there. Still had to log in every 12 hours.
