Yes, I did do the Circle thing. It is actually pretty good for this. It avoids that 2.9% + some pennies fee from Prolific, plus it does the currency conversion for free also (paypal never puts an explicit conversion fee, but the conversion rate they use is always 2 or 3% less than the going rate). So overall you get an extra 6% or so out of it compared to paypal.

You don't have to give Circle your bank account number, you can use a debit card and it just credits money to your bank account through that -- for me it happened pretty much instantly, not the next business day.
