Not saying this to make you madder, but 'cause lots of people get the whole week off. That's pretty much standard for universities.

 

I know last year it was. I had trouble the week before Christmas last year and much to my surprise that didn't happen this year especially having to deal with the headaches of the new site. I'm very much prepared to have a shitty week though. I hope I'm wrong but I'll make due catching up on TV shows and movies if I am right.

 

It was surprisingly good the week before. I was wondering if maybe a lot of workers got fed up and dropped out, waiting for the new site to become more functional?

 

I definitely think that helped but there were a lot of high paying HITs that week for whatever reason not only was it easier to catch them but there was a lot more for just a normal week let alone the week before Christmas which for me has traditionally sucked though last year by far was the suckiest. 2012 was my best year for the week before Christmas I did a bunch of motorcyle ads that paid $25 each. I did 16 of them in 6 days and collected my $400 and didn't touch MTurk until January as I was exhausted.
