So if I have ones that have been in "approved" status for a week should I contact them?

Yes probably. That's unheard of. It shouldn't be a week. I'm not sure if that's the requester's fault. Might be on Mturk side.

EDIT: If they have no pay on it, then they'll just stay approved forever.

Where would it say no pay at? In the comments? What about ones that are pending for over a week to be approved? Thanks for all the help!

The no pay ones are the ones you do for no pay. $0.00. Like qualification tests to try to get qualifications or make-up HITs. That would be under the reward status under your dashboard.

The ones that are pending, that can be up to 30 days. After 30 days, it'll automatically get approved. But most requesters manually approve it or have it set to approve much sooner than that.

If yours, the ones with pay, stays approved for over a week, I would think there's something wrong. Contact Mturk. In my years of turking I've never seen the approvals to last a week.

I have been Turking since January 2018. I have "TurkMaster (Tampermonkey)," "MTurk Suite" and "Task Archive." I can "Preview and Accept" with "Task Archive," as well as "Live Update" on the Amazon Mechanical Turk search page. MTurk Suite forces me to preview, and Task Archive requires me to restart the page each time I Preview an Accept. Is there better software or an easier way?

TO1 - the Turkopticon Script or TO2 - the Turkoptiscript? My TO2 stopped working and I found a comment on greasyfork under that script that it stopped working for someone else too. Not sure if it's being worked on or what the solution is....? I manually have to plug in requestors ID in TO2 for now.

    Hi everyone -

I'm brand new to this forum, but have been following it the last week or so. I really only see surveys posted in "great HITs", but was hoping to see more large batch HITs (maybe people keep those for themselves?). Anyway, I have gotten back on Mturk for the last month and really have only relied on surveys to make any money. It seems to have really died down from about 3-4 years ago (last time I was on) as far as those money maker batches that used to be posted all the time. I remember Alegion posting real estate batches that paid .15-.25 cents per hit and took about 20sec a piece (I would hammer those!). Those type of HITs seem to be few and far between now.

I am trying to test in to as many qualifications as I can for now. I'm sitting at 98.2% approval rating with about 13,500 HITs approved. Just looking to connect with other Mturkers and possibly get an edge on the competition by sharing knowledge. And advice would be greatly appreciated. I appreciate this forum to begin with.

    quick question:

I have downloaded TamperMonkey and turkopticon on my laptop. What would be your top 3 scripts to run if you had to narrow it down to 3?

    Thanks,

    -Adam

Hey guys, I used to Mturk a lot, and I'm getting back into the swing of things. So far, I'm adding scripts back in and getting used to some new ones as well. What I can't figure out is how to block certain requesters. Any assistance would be helpful.

I have: Tampermonkey on Chrome with:

    [MTurk Worker] Dashboard Enhancer 2.0.4

    [IMG] 10 min
9 HIT Scraper WITH EXPORT 4.1.4

    [IMG] 9 min
3 mmmturkeybacon Color Coded Search with Checkpoints 3.03

    [IMG] 47 h
    4 mmmturkeybacon Today's Projected Earnings 1.1

    [IMG] 47 h
5 MTurk Great HIT Export 1.28

    [IMG] 47 h
1 MTurk HIT DataBase Legacy 1.9.6.2

    [IMG] 47 h
    2 MTurk HIT Database Mk.II 1.2.1

    [IMG] 47 h
    7 Turkmaster (Mturk) 1.5.11

    [IMG] 10 min
    6 turkoptiscript

The main things I'm looking for is the rating/review of requesters, projected earnings, ability to block some requesters, HIT scraping, and projected earnings. :)

Blocking requesters are in another script that you can use: MTS. Mturk Suite which is available in the Chrome store. (And Firefox too I think, not sure)

MTS has a lot of scripts built in it. It's like all-in-one. Includes HIT scraping, Projected Earnings, Turkopticon, blocking requesters, logged HITs, HIT database, ability to right-click your worker ID to paste and many more. You can remove some of these scripts that you don't need. (less the better)

    https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mturk-suite/iglbakfobmoijpbigmlfklckogbefnlf?hl=en-US

Feel free to ask in the daily thread or here if you have any questions on any scripts. It should get you turking!

Open up HIT Finder. It's on the far left with the 'i' symbol in the HIT Finder. Click on that and you'll see 'block' requester or 'block' HIT which is the title.

On the mouse. Right click on your mouse and there's pop up that shows: 'Input Mturk Worker ID'. When selected, it pastes your worker ID saving you the trouble of memorizing it or going to copy/paste it from the dashboard. It will show up whenever you are ready to type.

What does it mean when I click a hit, and it says the rest of the hits are reserved for others. Can a requester reserve hits for people. There were plenty of hits left, but I was unable to access them.
