I love these surveys: "3 minute survey on your opinions" or whatever. Open link. Do captcha. Answer ten basic questions Americans should know. Answer more questions to prove you're human. Scroll through consent form, checking boxes as needed. "Thank you. This survey will take 3 minutes of your time. Consider..." It's like all the paranoia crap doesn't even count as part of the survey in requester's minds. At least not when it comes to estimating times and deciding what to pay.
I laugh (in frustration) at that as well. By the time you get started on the survey, 3 minutes has already passed. Then there are the ones that state, "You have reached the end of the survey". And on the next page there are 16 more questions regarding another measured scale. I am still confused on how clicking inside a button and receiving a green check mark, proves that someone isn't a robot. :dunno:

I like the ones that have the optional box to leave comments. And then more questions. Come on, gimme another comment box, I dare you... I have noticed that in Chrome where I do 99% of turking all I have to do is check the box, but on those rare occasions I do a survey in Firefox I have to do the full "click all the pictures of buses" or whatever. Maybe after you've done enough in a browser it just trusts you or something.

That ties into the whole, whenever you REALLY need a comment box, it's never there. I have the bus, store fronts, etc. come up whenever I do surveys on my phone. It never comes up in Chrome when working on Laptop.
