Palm Beach. I've dealt with spiders (in CA I had tons of widows on my property-- only time they freaked me out was one night I went to lock the front gate, but it was pitch black out. Something told me as I reached for the lock, not to do it, wait until morning when you can see. Sure enough morning comes around and the gate had a widow on her web and hundreds of babies), snakes and drivers in CA and AZ-- and the iguanas are all over here, but they run when they see me walking their way. But gators make me nervous. I remember seeing them lay around under the dock at my Mom's house and lounge around in the nearby park. I don't get how people are so comfortable around 'em.

I see iguanas daily. Had a big one drop down from my oak tree after last cold front. As for alligators, walk by any canal down here and yes, there are alligators. Once saw a silly drunken Swede go into canal with alligators swimming close by. He was lucky to get out alive. Alligators are fast swimmers and can run pretty fast too. It's like a different world down south. Have seen few small tiny snails but nothing this big. No iguanas at all since the northern areas are too cold for them in the winters. I would never get into any lake in Florida.
I never go anywhere close to the canals or man made lakes. Down here alligators are not that rare. Don't know if there are bufo toads in Palm Beach. The skin is poisonous. Wouldn't touch one. And obviously they can kill a curious pet. One of the kittens I had unfortunately died after trying to 'play' with one.
There are a bunch of kids in the lake here this weekend. I heard there was a gator here once a couple of years back, it climbed something to get here. But that's the only one that has made it into the lake since they built this place.
We had poisonous frogs/toads in az. I have a bunch of little frogs here, no idea if they are bufo taods
Yeah being from PA and NY I would jump in random lakes in the summer all the time. No way am I doing that down here.

Went for a walk around my neighborhood and the cats were having a party by the community pool I should have took a picture. 3 were laying on lounge chairs and 2 more were drinking the pool water in the shallow end.
