    Hello everyone,

11223344 is once again looking for new workers. :)

    To qualify, you must:

    • have 50 or more "thank you" points
    • PM me your workerid
    • PM me the correct answers to the short test below (in the same PM please)

    ---

You can view the instructions for our pricing HITs at https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2IUC1QP6AUC2PI7XHASX9V0KR9G07Q , then click on "Instructions".

    1) If the picture contains a single beer can, and you can only find the price of a six pack, how do you price this item? (hint: involves the calculator)

    2) If you see that a product is currently on sale, which price do you use?

    3) What would be the most appropriate replacement for a Nintendo SNES game console?

    4) Please try to price and find a product page for this item: http://stylish-inhouse.jp/inhouse_images/products/veroideadresser.jpg

    --

Good luck :D This opportunity will close once I add 100 new workers.

Oh, I also want to mention that I have received 15 new private messages since last night. If you already sent me a private message, please send one again with the answers to the test. Thank you!

Thanks for the heads up, but I do not share my worker ID with anyone on third-party forums. Good luck with your project.

I keep hearing mention of a number of posts required for the qual. Is that true as well? Or just what's been listed in the thread?

You might need to make space in your PM box now... I needed to resend some info that I forgot to send the first time.

"Thank You" he says in the qual notes, but the forum has "Thanks" and "Thanked". So is it that someone said "Thank You" to you (Thanked), or you said "Thank You" (Thanks) to someone else?

    My head hurts.

    Hello everyone,

OK - that was hectic - but things are closed now as I got the number of workers I needed.

You may have noticed that in the beginning I was sending messages, but I was soon rate limited by the forum and couldn't reply to the sheer number of messages I got.

Please check to see if you can do the HITs. I granted it to about 55 people without sending a message.

Here's the message I was mostly sending:

I also sometimes added other comments depending on the worker.

I'm very sorry for the confusion and before I do this again I'll make sure to email Andy and see if he can help me overcome the rate limiting and maximum number of users I can send to.

Again, please check if you can do the HITs. If so, your qualification was accepted. If not, we'll be doing this again soon I'm sure :)

    <sigh>
First, I just want to say that, having read all of the instructions immediately (and not thinking that a Reminder would be relevant, that the actual instructions would take priority), I answered the SNES question differently. Not to mention that replacing an SNES with a Wii U is a BIT of a jump. That's not really my bone of contention though. That would be...

    ...a TRICK. QUESTION.

I spent a half hour finding the exact page. I used the Japanese I know to trace the image back to a blog post on the website, then barring that, searched other Japanese stores and THEN did a Google image search to finally find the original page for that product, which actually does exist (though doesn't seem current). THIRTY. MINUTES. Because I like to be accurate when I take these tests...and because I don't expect examiners to be CUTE and **** with me.

    A trick question.

A funny little trick. A jolly jape. A pleasant poke of fun. Ah...hah.

Darn! I just submitted a moment ago. I had a very fussy 15 month old pulling my hand away from the mouse every couple minutes so it took me longer than needed.
