Can't Find Great HITS? Thursday 7/26: POWERFUL FRIDAY

I hope you didn't put it delicately.

 

$8.20 in the last 3 hours....But I also made dinner, watered the grass and sat and watched C4C for what felt like an hour. Tired as hell but I'll probably still lurk b/c y'all are addicting as all hell.

The worst thing about this is not that the pay was decreased from 0.25 to 0.15 to 0.10 and finally 0.02 (because this 0.02 batch is different from the previous versions) but that this new batch, while it deceptively involves about half less fields to fill out, actually involves MORE clicking around to find the information.

Whereas before you could find all the information in two websites (actually, I'd say 1 website because both sites have basically the same formatting), now you have to search several websites. Whereas before you knew where the info would located every time, now not so much.

I'm tempted to say that it's worse than Oscar Smiths, but I've never done those, just glanced at the HIT page. But definitely don't deserved to be included in Lotkrotan's Golden Requesters List.

In the same bunch as TOTW? I don't think so!

 

Well for me it was kind of easy....

I do BATCH HITS. If you make .11 cents every 2 minutes, that comes out to 3.3 every hour.

I work in a call center and have a lot of downtime so... lets say I spend 10 hours at work and roughly am only on the phone for 3 hours, thats 7 hours where I can use mTurk and fill out these things.

That means... I made 23.1$ if all of them are approved. I also look for the ones with higher value, which can be confusing sometimes.

But roughly if all of mine get excepted for the day, I am looking at around 18.7$ just from the last 4 hours.

Its hard to explain... but my advice is to look around on this forum as well as cLoudmebaby and Reddit/r/beermoney.

Thats how I got started. I also used a few guides on this site. My goal is to turn this into an additional part time job since I am a tattoo apprentice, I dont have a lot of free time.

This is just from today, and I have only been at work for an hour. Each one of these is value at around 11-25 cents each.

You are definitely not going to be looking at this as a fulltime job, while it is possible, but not when first starting out.

My friend has not had a job in over 3 years and has been doing stuff similar to this as well as reselling things from thrift stores. He makes around 1900$ a week.

 

I mean, a newborn baby, perhaps some days/weeks old.

Did not do this one. My system is not supported. I am using Linux. There might be a problem for MAC too

 

In my experience of doing Unrelated RNRs (I've done plenty!), I've NEVER gotten a rejection. And I've never heard anyone on this forum say they got a rejection from doing both Unrelated and Adult. Your qual will drop if you're in the minority of your labels or something, something. Get it low enough, and you'll never be able to work on them again. (Although I know of one turker who's had their qual reinstated.)

 

They are trying to find out how little they can pay they paid $7 for one chart before now they are asking how much people will do 4 for and bet most will say less than $7

 

lol Thats why I dont use CrowdSource or CrowdFlower. I tried them out for the first 10-15 minutes I was on mTurk and immediately quit using them... They have a great approval rate, but theyre obviously trying to pay the least amount for the most work.

Blazblue was amazing when the first port came out, now they just make it "playable" for people who dont understand fighting game mechanics. Btw, I am TundraShank on Evo forums and have gone to Evo 3 years in a row now.

 

opps, you don't even want to know what I put for the pay on that chart job. It looked like a 2 min HIT to me.

I agree. I have done 12 of their hits for a total of $68.

 

Um... huh? I've never had one just say "here" like I was begging for it and they just threw it at me to shut me up

 

Now that I think a bit more it was 2 charts for $7 but same sentiment from me.

$7 for a statistics problem

$5 for an essay idea

$5 for the find a study one

And they put them up a few times. I made $96 off of them then.

Over paid, yeah but it was nice, just worried now they will be underpaid after seeing responses.
