Can you be sure there wasn't a code at the end?

In case you want to add in another. To go that extra step above and beyond the average Turker. To show that you really are just that F'N amazing! To go where few have ever gone before. To live long and prosper. To show that you really are just that creative.

Could be any number of reasons why to tell you the truth.

So a few days ago I got a rejection from MIT Sloan School of Management. They said I submitted a HIT but never did the survey. It was only for $0.20 but I still wanted some more info on it so I e-mailed them. After a few back and forth's I sent them this last night.

"How would that happen though? I submitted the HIT with a validation
code at the end and how else would I get the code if I didn't do the
survey? I'm not trying to be smart with you here but I'm genuinely
curious. Am I the only person who had this issue or did other people
have it at well? Is there anyway at all to resolve this and have the
    rejection cleared?"

They responded this AM with -

"Okay, I discovered the source of the error. On the last page where you got your completion code (to enter on mTurk), there's a button you need to click in order to submit the work for review. If that button isn't pressed, your survey responses get stuck "in limbo" for a while and show up as an unfinished abandoned survey in the software. I found your submission though and it looks like that's the only question you forgot, so I sent you a payment via a bonus. I'm not sure it's possible to unreject work unfortunately."

They sent the $.20 bonus and while I did tell them it is possible to unreject someones work that it would be unnecessary since ONE rejection isn't going to kill me anyway. (18 won't either...that's how many I have and I'm still at 98.8%) So thanks MIT Sloan and make sure you guys press all the buttons on your surveys!!

    Happy Turkin' Kids!

Glad you got it resolved. It's so easy to miss that final submit button.
