Hi, I used to have that problem when traveling and wanting to finish up some paperwork or browse the net and I came to a WIFI dead zone or patchy WIFI until I downloaded the app FoxFi onto my phone. FoxFi is an awesome app and you get internet free,plus you don't have to ROOT your phone to use it. Just download it or better yet read the ratings on it,an amazing lil app to have!!!! Down load it to your phone and in in minutes you will have free internet or WIFI to work on your mturk!!!! I know it works on most phones, not all...many overseas aren't able to get but state side and depending on the make of your phone it should connect!!! I hope this help those of you needing that internet.... but you have to be able to download the app to the phone.... the app is called FoxFi type it in your browser and the site will come up!!! One last thing...I suggest you download the FoxFi Add onas well.... with the two you can't go wrong. BTW your phone acts as a hotspot and yes it will transmit to your pc and laptop to get you that connection...just make sure your pc has the wireless on and going!!!! Much luck!!!
