Very simple, CATS bonus discussion-ish. Seems to have posted ~ 11:50 PM Central, 09/02 for some people. All poll responses are anonymous. Ideally I'd instruct people to only vote if they were minimally aware of the CATS qual test and able to take it (regardless of whether they did). Ie if you started turking after CATS qualification was closed, don't vote, otherwise, do. This is not a brag thread, or a mope thread. Speculation on when the bonus will come / if you got it a decent amount after 11:50 PM CST is fine.
It would be fun to see who as a percentage of those on the forum received the bonus in comparison to the top 50%, my prediction would be a majority of us on the forum will have received the bonus.
Thanks for this! I totally did not see that I had gotten it and I checked my e-mail and I did. So glad I can stop wondering about it.
Poll responses are not anonymous if you have not taken the poll. Not sure if that was your intention or a script limitation.
Not exactly a representative or scientific poll, don't you think? People aren't likely to answer unless they got the bonus.
@jrknoch, I believe nobody can see which way anyone else specifically votes. It's not absolutely scientific but even if someone saw X% got it before voting, there's no reason to lie unless people can see what each specific person voted. There are issues of people who got it are more likely to say so and such, sure. But people who didn't, well maybe their bonus didn't come, or that they say they didn't get the bonus will comfort others in the same boat. People have stated as much in other threads, and it was at a similar rate as it was here (2-3 no, 6+ yes). My hypothesis is that as a whole, people here had at least a slight edge (in effort or "intelligence" relevant to the tests) compared to the "average" person who did CATS. It doesn't take a huge percent difference from 50-50, assuming there's not a big flaw, to say this is true with a good amount of confidence. Could someone explain this to me? I didn't think anyone is able to see the results unless they submit their vote. Are they at least anonymous in the sense that nobody can see who voted yes/no?
