Copy-paste from old thread: I use to average $5 A WEEK. Then again, I had a baby account w/ under 1k approvals and just grabbed at anything HTWF threw at me. I lurked here for awhile, got super hyper on coffee one morning, posted a bunch of pony gifs, annoyed the sh*t out of almost everyone. Then started to fit in once I calmed down a bit. I really like (most) of the people here and I think that for me, being able to take a break, and chit chat and have people I can talk to while grinding away on things makes turking w/ this forum work for me. If I can't have small breaks to chit chat and talk and just relax, then I end up hating my job. For reals, bed time.....
I did, but only because the friend that told me about turking told me about the thread. Also, my accuracy on Zoya is so back and forth, it looks like a different person is doing each round.
Where did you find it? At some other forum? Because google will take you from some lame blog posts straight into the welcoming arms of good ol HWTF.
I don't even have 500+ approved so I guess I'm lucky to be making decent money regardless. It is kind of hard work but I really don't mind at all. In fact I think it's very fun and I think of it kind of as a game where I just "do it" and then bam another coin to put in my chest.
Repost from last nights thread: Download FeedNotifier Take the hits worth turking for url and add a .rss to the end... http://www.reddit.com/r/HITsWorthTurkingFor/.rss Add that new url as a feed to your feed notifier and set refresh rate at 1 or 2 min... Never load reddit again... but receive a nice desktop notification within 1 or 2 min whenever a new post is tossed up... and it can be turned off. HWTF is mostly useless... and usually their hits are just recycled from here posted a few minutes after they pop on this thread... but its low resource, sometimes you'll catch a survey that you might not have known about if you were hamming a batch or not reading the forum... and sometimes they actually manage to do their own homework and post one that hasn't made it here. There is no replacement for looking for your own hits... but there is always usefulness in new ways to monitor sources, the crowd collectively has more eyes than you do...
I found it by googling "mturk forums". Just like castor I found it before even registering on mturk, I did a thorough research of mtwerk and any resources for it before signing up.
I found it AFTER I started working in mturk About a month. I thought I read that mturk had its own forum so I was searching for it to no avail. So I googled mturk forum and saw this and then also the other one. The other one was locked up. So I sticked around here.
I signed up for mturk but had to wait three days to be approved. I googled til I found people talking about actual work experience so I'd know what to expect when I was allowed to start doing hits. Found you guys and never left. Didn't even know what HWTF was until I came here. Reddit is where I go to argue never even considered they may have turking advice on that site.
