When I brought my daughter to her 18 month check up last week one of the nurses gave her a piece of candy. She looked at it and then handed it to me. The nurse asked "Does she not like candy?" and I answered that she did not know what it was. Stunned silence and long staring by both her and the assistant. They somehow managed to make me feel a little bad that my daughter's idea of a treat is raisins. Then I realized, I don't need to give my baby Mountain Dew to be cool

If we wanted to get super technical, my keyboard runs MX Cherry Black switches, which have a 65g actuation point to register a click. A typing keyboard with Blues only has 45g of actuation pressure required to trip the switch.

If you're using a standard rubber dome they're about 50g of actuation pressure.

My keyboard is a gaming keyboard, it's designed for a heavier press to activate the switches, thus requiring more force per movement to register the key. It's good for being able to heavily rest your fingers on it without activating the switches like in FPS games where your hands might be applying more pressure due to being "in the zone", yet you won't register the keys like on normal keyboards. I like it because in stuff like LoL/SC2/etcc, I bottom out my keys rather than goto their actuation point, so the heavier requirement is suited to my style.
