    Save the web page to your computer, use the extension .htm, do not create a web archive. Name the file using the ID below and the extension .htm, for example PMC123456

    If you are talking about John DeFalco and his “Perform searches for articles” HITs:

    The requester is scraping the pages. He is either too lazy to write a script and do it himself, or he doesn’t want to get caught doing it.

    What he wants is the raw code, not a pretty web page.

    Like this:

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns:xi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XInclude">
      <head>
        <title>Genetic Characterization Indicates that a Specific Subpopulation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa Is Associated with Keratitis Infections</title>

        <meta name="app" content="pmc" />
    <meta name="PAFTemplate" content="PPMCArticlePageT" />
    <meta name="pdid" content="article" />

    much omitted

    <script type='text/javascript' src='/portal/js/portal.js?v3.0.1.r349287: Mon, Jan 09 2012 15:55:37'></script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://static.pubmed.gov/portal/portal3rc.fcgi/3347739/js/2893888/3335458/14476/1231230/13745/719/33485/2661/8226/2166/3923/15864/20121/15841/33463/2391492.js" snapshot="pmc"></script></body>
    </html>

    If you open the file you created with a browser, you will see a web page. If you open it with Wordpad, you will see things like in the code box I pasted.

  13. But what is the use of this code? And is there any problem to getting the code? Because you written that "he doesn’t want to get caught doing it."?

    Yes kindly do explain us that, even i have done over 70 hits in that.... Still my workings were not approved, he surely is a lazy i think

  15. It will take 7 days to approve hit work. He already set the auto approval for 7 days. So our hit will be approved automatically after 7 days. You can find out that from the page source...

    Is it really so? He accepted the hits in 2 days for the same kind of hits but it were of 2 cents then.
    So I didn't do this time because of less payment.

  17. Yes. You can see the page source. But when you did that 2 cent job? I did some 2 cent hits on 29th of last month. But it didn't approved till now. That is why I checked his auto approval time.

    Ok. Not so familiar with the page source thing.
    But I did the 2 cent job on 28th February. Might have done on 29 but the mturk time is 28th. Whatever, I assume those were of the same batch you are talking about. And all of them were accepted within 2 days.
