Hi everyone! I'm from Southern CA. I've been turking for about 2.5 months now and lurking mturk forum for a few days. I really enjoy your posts so I'd thought I'd join and hopefully contribute something worthwhile. Even though I'm not a total noob, I could still stand to learn a lot about turking. Welcome to the Forum. I enjoyed reading your name...hmmm, wonder if that makes turking easier or harder...sometimes it's hard to tell with some of these hits. Like you, I've been a turker on and off since October, but found some great info and folks here.
Nice to meet you pieper. thanks for the warm welcome : ) Re: my username...it definitely helps but moderation is key. If I drink too much I become very paranoid about missing ACs. : D I have almost 900 approved hits without any rejections so I think I've been doing ok. I hope I can keep that up.
Yea, i got lucky with some mass HITs the last couple of weeks, otherwise i'd still be at around 500 or 600. I actually found them here that's why I joined : )
