Can't Find a Ton of HITs? 7/13 Super Hits Sunday!

LOL, Masters is random. They draw your name out of a hat. Probably matching some demographics or other criteria. They look at your stats. If it falls within the threshold, congrats.

...at least that's the only thing that makes sense. Too many new people get Masters with not even 10k hits and with a nice sum of rejects. Then you got people with 100000+ hits and 99%+ approval ratings that never see Masters.

 

This pretty much sums it up. The same thing happens with people that won the lottery. Somehow they think they're better than everyone else. They deserved to win it. Nope just luck.

 

Maybe LOL I haven't heard of people getting Masters after Oscar has been gone.

I don't know what I was thinking when I scheduled my kids' dentist appts for 9:20 on a Monday morning. I wasn't Turking then obviously. I'm gonna miss stuff. Sigh.

 

I've seen some Mondays be slow at 9 in the morning and then pick up in the afternoon. So don't lose hope yet. Also hope your kids teeth are okay!

 

Just a cleaning. 3 of the kids all at once though! I can accept surveys from my phone at least. Or make my 15 year old watch my scraper while I'm gone. Only down the street so won't be gone too horribly long!

 

Is that advertisement for THE STRAIN on FX really grossing out anyone else? The one with the eye?

i really can't tell what's worse, the accent, the dirtstache, or the hair that hasn't been showered in so long that it is now mange.

 

What was life like before MTurk? I wonder this sometimes when I'm chained to my computer watching hit scraper lol

 

Yeah, I'm off from work on Sunday's and Monday's which is the absolute worst time to Mturk. Takes a bit to get going on Mondays when people are heading back to work and putting up their hits.

 

Life before Turk I was stressed out trying to figure out how I was going to make money to help take care of my kids so I'm not living on child support and my son's disability SSI. LOL

I still remember sitting on my bed doing P9r transcriptions and my boyfriend asking me how much I made and I said like 9 cents. And I felt like an idiot. lol But I knew it would get better...

 

I looked at my last few Sunday's and aside from last week's 21.00, the two weeks before that were both 43.00. On Sunday. I was kind of annoyed when I saw that. I'm at like 19.00 for today ...

 

Ha! That was me too. One day I sat down at did a batch of p9rs that were .23 cents for the entire day. I remember feeling pretty good about my $23, even if it did take me ten hours lol.

 

If it weren't for finding this board I probably would have given up on it. When I saw how much some people were making though... I knew it was all about a sacrifice at first. And it still is really. My hourly wage isn't the greatest but I got up to almost 12k HITS in under 2 months and I knew it was all about just getting up there and then it would be better. At least I know that if I have an expense I can sit here and make the money for it even if it's grinding at crap jobs... instead of pulling from my emergency fund.

 

I made $28 in 12 hours 1 day. After that I found the forum and scripts and learned how to search.

Definitely. I feel like the only way to get by on MTurk is to persevere. You have to believe it can get better if you keep working at it. You have to believe you acn get better at the skill.
