Jonas was diagnosed right before his 4th birthday. August 28th will be his 4 year Diabersary. I bought him a plush pancreas for it. lol

Hayley was diagnosed three weeks after her fourth birthday. April 29th was her diabersary. For her fifth I had people share her story with friends and family as well as our address. She got mail and cards and gifts from around the world encouraging her to continue to be strong. It was pretty amazing.

Yes indeed. Just have to ignore the bloat because the voice and the groove are as sexy as ever. Still solid as fuck. And that's a rare thing after almost 15 years. I was so glad that Do To The Beast wasn't a sad ass suckfest. The Twilight Singers were good but somehow lacking, for my taste. Glad to see someone else who appreciates some Dulli!

Some people have asked me why on earth we'd celebrate that day. It's celebrating his life and bravery. He could have died. That was one of the scariest days of my life. Seeing him in the hospital so weak and skinny and watching him struggle to breathe... yeah. We celebrate! We have gone to a smaller amusement park for the last two years, I don't think he's decided yet what he wants to do this year yet. Wow our kids were diagnosed so close in age!

 

I lifted the top of my scanner, put my hair on the screen, closed said screen and then pressed "scan". ^_^

 

Yeah, the Twilight Singers left a lot to be desired, but 'Teenage Wristband' was my anthem/excuse for a minute and I loved it then and love it now.

In fact, it's on my workout playlist, as my goal in life is not to be bloated like Dulli. Also, I just really like that song.
