IF you have 100 people and 90 of them do 200 hits a week and 10 do 5 you have 18050 completed hits.. if you CUT those ten workers you only get 18K. Even if you pick up more workers it costs him NOTHING to keep non hamming qual'd (and good) workers on 'staff'.

I spend way too much time trying to write a question for something that only has 2 sentences to begin with. That's when I do something like "Which of these is not true" and have some off the wall options. I try to pull out things that have numbers. Or a list of things.

  3. The only one I've seen so far that was really "are you serious?" was one where the entire section was a practice test. So I had to formulate a question... about questions.

I'll totally be the guy though, it means less time fixing my hair.

Maybe he wants the hits done faster or maybe he wants people that want to actually do the hits. Keeping people that clearly dont want to do the hits is asinine. If you cut those 10 workers that clearly dont have a passion for doing your hits then you may improve the quality of workers, or at least you have a chance to. Keeping dead weight earns you nothing.

Just looked at the new instructions for the Jim HITs and I see where you all went wrong.

You made EGREGIOUS ERRORS! And now you will be taken out back and shot.

  11. As far as I know, assigning a qual costs nothing. Someone with the qual doing no HITs is "dead weight" in literally no sense of the phrase.

Here we go. You're wrong. I don't have time to monitor thousands of submissions every day which is what I get. I prune to have a fast, elite squad who is capable of understanding directions that I can trust will do what I want. Having people who "do HITS every once in a while" and then having to monitor their performance and read every single HIT they submit is time consuming and inefficient. Having people who are committed to your HITS and are turning and burning who know exactly what you need is exactly what requesters want.

1.) I've said it before but i'll say it again. When you make an error the first fewtimes, I correct it for you. Depending on the day, if the errors keep happening i'll message you and if continues to happen i'll just remove qual. I think MANY people can attest that i'm pretty responsive in my emails and that i'm actually very nice when someone makes an error. BY THE WAY - When someone makes an error when you have thousands of submissions, do you guys just think it's that easy for a requester to go in there and change it out? It' s like a 10 min ordeal and you have to document, log, make sure whomever you're working with knows about it and be on your Ps and Qs. When requesters get work done they need it done right. 99% of the time when we download our csv's its queued up to be imported by another program. You think we want to go to that log where we're documenting everyone's errors, spend 10 min on each error when there could potentially be hundreds of csvs and thousands of submissions? Everything needs to be perfect.

2.) All of you who have a removed qual, or who have complained that I rejected 1 of their HITS, or who have stated that "he said he wasn't going to reject it" post your worker ID so I can show the community the actual amount of errors that were submitted, and my course of actions. I'm very sure that after I post the amount of times I've fixed the errors for you before removing qual will show that I've actually gave you a chance, multiple chances.

Bottom line is you guys can complain all you want about me, and other requesters. But you really don't know what it is we have to deal with on our end with all the shitty submissions we get and all the leniency we give. Nor do you understand why everything really has to be so perfect. Now you do.

Or hes killing those that aren't doing them how he wants (including me). Done 60 something of them and had 7 rejected which were my fault. But he wants them done an exact way, if you don't follow his specific directions you get the boot. Seems fair. Don't like his jackass comments and attitude but its his batch and he can pick/choose workers how he wants.

And this is funny, kinda nsfw or kids - language

That makes absolutely no sense, someone with a qual not doing hits is the very definition of dead weight.

  16. I haven't even done any of your HITs but damn, I have some respect for you.

  17. I don't think he's been a jackass at all, just brusque because he probably has a ton of work to do and it is probably irritating seeing people say they were "unfairly" rejected when they weren't.

I've done hundreds of these, and I've only had 2 rejections, and both were due to page #s that were totally my fault because I didn't double check that the section wasn't repeated twice verbatim in the pdf in different areas.

Same. Ive never done one of his hits, but I have more respect for him than these morons trying to justify losing their qual.

Cool, only speaking from personal observations. They haven't changed.

  20. Seem pretty quick and easy, depends on if you have something better to do, I guess.
