Good morning everyone. Regarding that survey from yesterday that rejected most people. He wrote me back and said that everyone failed and that there were 7 trick questions and that people only got 4/7 correct. These are his trick question, which I don't understand because they sound like opinions to me: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7078124/aq_survey1142.png

I'm calling bullshit. He didn't even put the real trick questions on his list, which means all together there were 11. What a POS. Pretty much, if he doesn't LIKE your answer, it's wrong. I stand by my hate for him still.

My survey was accepted and paid. Also, in the attention check/trick question you posted it tells you to select the third option. That's not an opinion, that's an instruction. He said that everyone failed?

No, he didn't say all. Vast majority. I was just talking about all of us from last night who got rejected. This is his exact email:

    Hello,

The vast majority of survey takers got all attention questions correct. See this link for a copy of the attention question that most rejected Turkers did not answer correctly: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7078124/aq_survey1142.png If you would like me to look at your specific survey record I can double check which specific question you got wrong -- there were four other attention questions as well.

My mistake, there were 5 in total. I was reading that as each individual question. Now I see I need my coffee before reading emails. I guess it was our mistake. Oh well. Still not doing anymore of his bogus surveys.

That seems like a legitimate attention check to me. I caught whatever he did and have been approved and paid. Posting content of surveys is a bad idea and violation of the rules, especially a screen shot of an attention check.

Wow! I took that survey and was paid. I remember those questions. Those are opinion questions.

Never mind. I see now. Yeah those are tricky. I learned to read thoroughly because of that. It's their way of checking to see if our answers are serious.

That Melissa lady still hasn't emailed me back. I hope she comes through. I need some medcrowds to come out so I can make up for this mess.

That's the first time I seen an attention check as one of the answers and not in the question.

Ugh, I can't will myself to keep doing these CS sentiments right now. Maybe if my internet were up to snuff, but it's late and I'm not going to sit here putting off sleep with a doubled work time just because shit takes a solid minute just to load.

So um, nobody do them so they're still here when I wake up, k thanks.

Edit: AW, no fair, things started working awesomely all of a sudden.

Wednesday I saw an AC in an AC (yo dawg?) They can do whatever they like, there is no set rules or styles for checking that you read everything. That would kind of defeat the purpose right?
