I'd imagine it takes time for a bot to comb through every page in addition to mTurk's stellar refresh rate.

I come home early from work, *just* miss the Rubin hits and there is almost nothing to do. Go out for a couple of drinks with a friend, come back to find out ClariTrans loaded a bunch of 5 second hits I missed *and* I missed a batch of Rubins. Worst.timing.ever.
I just spent around 20 min on a survey when I realized I forgot to copy the code and closed the page! Had to return it. First time it's happened to me.
I did something like this once to. I finished a survey and didn't remember the code so I guess they got one for free.
Hey everyone, been lurking for a few days, finally decided to sign up. You guys are FANTASTIC, love reading the color commentary. Joined mturk at the end of August but didn't find out about here until a bit ago. You've all been a huge help in my turking as well, learned about the beauty of batches. Starting to earn a bit of coin here. Of course, I *JUST* missed all the Rubin batches (not enough approved HITs), so the first batch I've been doing is the raINC porn tagging one. I'm not sure if that's a personal high (getting paid to look at porn) or a personal low (getting paid to look at porn). Anyways, can't wait to be part of this community!

Many times I'll find myself happily working all night until like 7 am when the sun starts to come up. The only reason I even keep track of days of the week is because Thursday is the last day to cash out so I have money on the weekend
