OK, yeah, it took all of 6 minutes. I still hate short timers though! :)

Sounds Adventist to me, or an offshoot. I'm not one, but I know they are big on vegetarianism, natural foods, and healthy living.

If they are, maybe you could $$$ell them to the ministry. They may not have those anymore and may be interested in them for historical purposes.

Well, I did contact the "Ministry" magazine and let them know that i have the complete set and linked to the article they did.

I would like to track down the church these were being shown at in case they no longer have a copy, but it isn't listed anywhere that I have found yet.

For now, they are going on Ebay and then we can go from there. Now, just to figure out an asking price...

This sounds wrong. I often have 10 or so ranging from 10-60 seconds. Right now I have a 2, a couple of 5's, and some longer ones. TM should basically regulate itself to avoid errors -- it just doesn't send the requests as often as you asked.

    Offhand:
    - I've had problems when I am seeing lag. I guess requests are not being received by mturk at nice even intervals anymore.
    - Other scripts like hit scraper or the queue order fix can add a lot of requests
    - Doing really quick penny hits like mylikes or zings can add a lot of page requests (I can run a 1 second panda in TM for zings just fine, but if I catch 10 and knock them out in a couple of seconds each, the combo of TM every second and me submitting fast almost always generates errors)

I run all my TMs at around 5 to 10 seconds each. Usually, I only set TMs for hits that are $1 or more that I have missed.

I usually can do about 15 to 25 TM pandas at a time until I reach the refresh errors. Unless I am running scraper at the same time. Then cut that down to about 10 to 15 pandas at 5 to 10 seconds each.

Thanks for the advice. I was running TM with scraper at a 5 second delay so that may have been the problem. When I stop scraper the issue seems to stop.

yeah, scraper and TM don't mix well. I run Scraper on a 15 second delay and 10 sec max delay on pandas.

This seems to work ok, but sometimes scraper zonks out and decides to return 45 pages or so. Nothing harmful though.

I just started using scraper the past week, so I am learning the other way around. I was having issues scraping 3 pages at first, but thanks to that well-timed mturk update, I am now doing a single 50-result page and seem to be fine unless I really go nuts with TM.

On the minus side, it is annoying getting 50 results every time I submit something, every time I try to preview and/or accept and the HIT is gone, etc. My internet connection is not fast and those mturk pages have horribly bloated HTML. And in NONE of those situations do I want to see a list of 50 random HITs after the simple 8-word message from mturk.

Well I'm giving up. Fell well short of my $500 weekend I was hoping for. $396. It was a hard fought battle. Back to the real job in the morning. Goodnight turkeys.

The Adventist church he mentions showing films at (in the link I posted up there ^^) is now junky apartments a few blocks from a Japanese steakhouse. It kind of made me laugh because the letter he published mentions packing the auditorium twice with people who basically wanted to hear about vegetarianism and leading strict, moral lives and now the place is a bit dilapidated on Google Maps.

He was in the Texico Conference Association of Seventh Adventists which does still exist, though.
