I spent most of Friday recovering from the drinking I did Thursday night/Friday morning(when I was posting quite belligerently) There has been no real new communication from amazon payment's side, despite the rumors and know-it-alls posting on reddit. I'm pretty sure they messed up so bad they're just as confused as us as to how they're going to reasonably resolve it. We'll see this week some new info about what might happen. Whats making a lot of people mad though is the verified twitter account for amazon payments was tweeting a dog picture instead of addressing the issue, which they still haven't done.
Anyone make any transfers lately? I'm afraid to. I don't want to get into this payment mess. Yesterday someone at Reddit spoke to someone Amazon Payments yesterday who said, "She also advised NOT to withdraw any mturk money into Amazon Payments until payment issues have been resolved, but she did say that we are safe to keep turking as normal while they fix matters on their end."
I transfered like 16 bucks from mturk to amazon payments to blunt the ~-25$ somewhat, I didn't want a charge-back to lead to an overdraft at my bank. I won't be transferring more until this is cleared up though, that -9$ is gonna stagnate on my mind though.

Been off line for few days, what's all this about transferring/payment problems? I just did a small transfer before I logged in here.
Still sitting at -$1,346.99 turking money is on hold for now but my available balance keeps increasing since I'm still working a bit I won't be transferring until I'm at a zero balance again
Here is what I know, but I had done my transfer the day before the kerfuffle, so I haven't been involved. Anyone who tried to transfer funds on either Mon. or Tues of last week was told that it failed. So they tried again to be told it failed and some kept trying. Then all of a sudden it got fixed and amazon transferred the amounts that the worker had asked to be transferred again and again, for as many times as they asked, and now their payment accounts are negative. I think the real problem is that for some reason the original transfer somehow isn't included (or something) anyway, it's a mess.
From last wednesday till I guess late that Thursday, technically, but still.. no Basically anyone who attempted to do a withdrawl from their amazon payments would get a 'failed' email, but later that thursday the withdrawals woudl succeed. Problem is any and all failed attempts ALSO went though. SO on a microcasm level, lets say "me" I tried to withdrawal 12.60 like 2 times, and on the third time I got a sucessfull email after the two failed emails. That night, I got 12.60 depostited into my bank account 3x times. YAY. But now my amazon payments account is negative,
I think I may have math'd wrong. I use a budget spreadsheet & sync'd all the turk transactions. I put the original withdrawal in the turk category & the rest into an overage category. The overage adds up to exactly the amount I'm negative in payments so it didn't disappear; I just have 5 extra deposits. My opinion now is shifting towards them sending out emails about the glitch & telling everyone who is negative we have to make up the balance before we can withdraw again. Basically an interest-free loan. I'm not knowledgeable about banking so I don't know if its possible to reverse them. If they can't then this is my best guess.
