Hi all, I'm relatively new here. I posted a couple of batches in the last couple of weeks, but I wanted to take a step back and get some feedback before I do a much bigger batch of HITs this week. I realize that I screwed up when I had to reverse a bunch of rejections; I promise that won't be happening again. Some questions for you: Are the instructions clear enough? Are the qualifications appropriate? I did some research on the forums & other HITs for pay rate, but is the pay appropriate? Thank you very much for your time. I look forward to working with you all again. EDIT: Removed qualifications for the sandbox HITs. Proposed qualifications are: HIT acceptance rate > 75%, Location US, and abandonment rate < 25%. I realize now as writing that the abandonment rate isn't particularly necessary right now. https://workersandbox.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=3VL3OSLWYGZZJHAC1PMPKYV97A51GU
I can't tell you because I can't view your HIT because I don't have the "qualifications" to view it. Sorry!
Alright I switched out the links to an updated set of sandbox HITs with no qualifications. Some of the image links might be broken.
Hi Bartleyn, - Your compensation seems reasonable. - Your qualifications are unique. The most common qualifications are a combination of "Total Approved HITs" (indicating experience) and "HIT Approval Rate" (indicating accuracy). - Would you consider opening the HITs up to Canadian workers as well? It's easy to do - from the drop down menu simply select "Location" "Is one of" and then you can choose up to 15 countries to allow. Good luck with your project!
Thanks! I think it looks okay! I agree that the abandonment rate shouldn't be included. When do you plan on publishing the HITs?
Thanks for the note. I will reconsider my qualifications (namely the abandonment rate). I also don't see why I can't expand the locations to include Canada.
Sweet, thanks. I plan to publish either later today or first thing in the morning. I'll make a note once I finish preparing the batch.
Thanks! The reason that I don't think the abandonment rate should be included is because we were all told (by Amazon) that abandonment rate and return rate were not used by requesters. We (the workers) can't even see that information any more.
