Wasn't sure if there was already one of these or not but I figured a new one couldn't hurt.

Somebody mentioned yesterday that we should keep a list.

Here is a list of Requesters I automatically search when I start turkin'

Would be cool if other people could add to this stockpile and I'll edit a giant list.

    Agent Agent
    Anita
    Carnegie Mellon Social Computing Group
    Crowdsurf
    Ian Rakow
    Matt Rubin
    PPC WWBP
    Research Tasks
    SERI Vision Rehab Lab
    Steven Murch
    Two Lakes
    Set Master Account

    Objections? Additions?

FWIW, Matt Rubin dropped his price overnight.

Last night / early this morning:
Matt Rubin Find the Official Course Name and Number $0.30

    Now:
Matt Rubin Find the Official Course Name and Number $0.20

That’s a pretty hefty drop, though some people will still do them.

how do you search a Requesters name? I have tried to put them in the HITS search bar but only works with the name of the Hit not the requester??

You pretty much either have to have their turk ID or click on their name when they have a HIT available.

I'm surprised to hear this. I search all the time on requester names, although usually the ones I search are likely to have HITs up right then.

But come to think of it, even if they don't, I just get a screen that says "Your search did not match any HITs." Otherwise, I feel like what I get are pretty complete listings of the requester's available HITs.

skyblue13, are you getting a different error message? Or is the issue that the requesters you're searching just don't have any HITs at the time?

Actually, I never have an issue searching requester names. Are you sure it doesn't work?

Same results as Naturegirl and Cowfin. In my favorites each bookmark is a search of a Requester name (no ID's). Works fine for me.

Edit: I'll add OLA Quality Assurance. Great HIT to do when you see them.

Many requesters change their requester names while still retaining their requester IDs, like Lindsay Kennedy/Tim Edwards. For these requesters, searching for the old names won't yield results. This might be one reason why your search is not working.

Another case is when you miss a space in requester's name. I've seen many type setmaster in daily thread without spaces in b/w. This also won't work when searching unless they've tagged that keyword in their HIT.
