Hi all. I'm Mary and I've been "turking" since, well, I guess January or February. I wish I had found this forum earlier, but, now that I've found it I'm still happy I've found, working from the last page, going towards the first page easiest for me. I don't know why. Since I now "know" of other turkers now, let me ask about my statistics. I think I'm doing good. But still I would like a little "pat on the back." I've done 10,471 hits, had 10,102 approved, 140 rejected, and 229 pending. My rate is 98.6 Up until about 2 weeks ago it was always around 98.9 to 99.1 but I got silly and did too many hits for a requester who winded up saying, "no that's wrong, so is that, and so is that" and so on for about 50 hits. I've learned better. OK, any advice anyone??
Some Modifications for Firefox users. Disable Backspace Button. To Do this just type "about:config" in your address bar and press enter. Then press "I'll be careful, I promised" button. Now type "backspace" in the search box and then change the value 2 instead of 0. You done it. now backspace key use only for erase. you never go back to previous page.. Disable Close button. Do above steps 1 & 2. Now type "closebutton" then change the value 2 instead of 1. (default=1, if u want close button for current tab only then change 0.) Use middle button If u choose value 2 for close button then use middle mouse button for close the tabs. Also u can use the middle button to open a link into new tab instead of pressing the ctrl key. Don't change any thing else until u know that.
