Ok this is just a basic tip everyone should know but for those who dont i'll explaine. For those types of hits where you have to say.. Google search something for example say find a buisnesses phone # easy hits but that tabed browsing can be time consuming switching back and forth between tabs cutting and pasting info. So heres what ya do.. Take Two windows set 1 on the right side of the screen the other on the left if you have windows 7 this is just so much fun to do! If you dont then just do it manuly make sure the widows are set so you can read everything you need to. Then with the hit on the left and google on the right cut paste search cut paste submit.. This speeds things up SO much i was doing certin hit around 20 secs each with tabs then i switched up made 1 window on the left smaller then the window on the right since google maps was being a pos.. still able to read all the information i needed to but able to quickly cut and paste into google search verify information click on googles crap i needed copy the link with a quick keystroke mouse left paste submit next hit. This can speed things up so much for you even more so if you can read and verify information fast you can do bulk hits in just a cpl of hours.. Theres other tricks too but those are being saved for when some better attitudes come along For now tho enjoy i hope this helps some of you out there speed you hits up a little bit Rember tho speed is nothing if your not 100% accurate. Also games that help hand eye cordination are excellent tools to train you to become faster at the computer
That's a good idea. Another thing you can use is Split Browser for Firefox - I think they've changed the name of it since I used it last. Dual View does the same thing, but for Chrome. Both will keep you from having to have two browsers running at once.
Ahh i guess i should have mentioned you can open a tab and just pull it out from firefox and drop it on your screen and it will open a new window for ya windows 7 style! I do the left right thing but with top and bottom browsers instead so they're like stacked on top of each other. Works better for me since I have to do this for another job anyway and thus am already used to it

My apologies! I am used to pun comments all the time. Blame it on the photography forums I frequent. And if you are a Nikon fanboy, you will get it. All comments by the other camps laced with obvious in between meanings. Good suggestions, there. I've also done some hits with the split screen in which I'm able to drag the text from one window to the other. Timesaver for me a lot of the time. On a lot of CS hits I enlarge the view of the search terms in the hits by CTRL + scroll so I can see more of the search requests and more search results. Saves scrolling time, and it's easier to tell what number search result it is. Might not work for everyone, though.
Why would you worry about suspension for having more than one browser window open? Utilizing standard tools without making something automated is allowed. Just like it's not wrong to use a program to slow down speech when doing transcription work or a document program when doing a writing job.
They could've been trying to do something that isn't allowed, but it's hard to say when there aren't specifics.
