I also have 12 hits from crowdsource that have been awaiting approval for several days now. Would anyone care to tell what is going on?

They've never been fast to pay. I did some the other day and half paid that day and the other half is still waiting for approval and that was on Wednesday, I think.

I been waiting since thursday I emailed them and got this msg

    Hello there:

Our average moderation time for the majority of our work is 3-5 business days after you submit your HIT. Longer articles and more extensive HITs do take longer to moderate, but total moderation time should not exceed a week. If any of your HITs go unmoderated for longer than 7 business days, then please contact us.

    Thanks!

Suits me just fine. I like the prompt and honest disclosure. They have a pretty nice site of their own where you can view work and statistics, etc. I've gotten paid in a reasonable amount of time in the past. I wouldn't worry at all.

My guess is that they are expanding as far as the amount of hits go, but they aren't expanding their personnel. Hopefully, they'll get to the point where it's economically feasible to do just that. Again, it's just a guess. :)

Or, they're busy shuffling funds. I hope they shuffle some my way fairly soon. :p

I can relate to that a little. I just keep reminding myself that as far as the hits we've done, the funds are already there and will be paid automatically at the end of 30 days if CS won't do it....though I can't see that happening. They can't post hits unless the funds have been deposited, so I'll keep doing them and try not to get too impatient.

In my experience, CrowdSource has been the FASTEST HIT requester to pay. Its usually within several minutes that the HIT has been approved (I do the URL HITs, though). It is for this reason that I prefer CrowdSource HITs above any other. Going back to last Thursday, the 14th, I have 31 CrowdSource HITs pending approval. I've never had to wait this long for approval from them ever before, so I imagine there must be something internal going on that is slowing down the process. This marks the 4th business day of pending for me...guess I'll be shooting them an email in a few days if there isn't resolution.

It may not be this, but I've noticed a lot of new HIT types from them lately. It's probably what someone else said, they are just going through a growth period and that rarely seems to go smoothly for anyone. Makes me happy. With my awful approval rating (thanks to the early beta test days) I can't do but half the HITs on Amazon at any given time. The more there are the better and CS doesn't use a strict 95% approval requirement on most of their HITs like others do.

They've started approving HITs randomly that I've submitted over the course of the last four days. Its like they saw this thread :)

Most of mine that have been pending for days were approved today.
