Hi, I stumbled onto this website because I'm on a quest to make money to save up for a french trip in march of next year when im a senior. my source of help will be from my mom because she will get a better paying job during the summer, working at mcdonalds for 40 hours for 2 weeks which is bullcrap since I wanted to get more hours during the week, and my brother when he works after the 28th of june. but I'm starting to get more and more worried as the week progresses on. I need to save $3500 or else I won't go at all. my backup plan would be to go next summer once I finish high school. so what are some tips for me to become successful on mturk so that way I can go on a trip in march? please post with great detail. anything helps =D
I assume, you are from the States. If so, you are in luck. If not, I am sorry to burst your bubble. Work is hard to come by. Do a few HITs, you will figure out what sort of HITs you can do best. Psst: Surveys are the milking cows. Don't forget to milk 'em. Surf the forum and get acquainted.
yes i am from the states all i have been doing recently is give your opinion by crowdsource hits. they are easy to do. crank out 1 for less than 3 minutes for .16 ok I guess but could do better. which requester is good to you?
Are you over the age of 18? You cannot work on mturk in the states if you are not 18 years old and it would be a shame for you to spend all of your time working on mturk for them to suspend your account and keep your earnings if you break their TOS by being under 18.
I am 18 it is just that I started late :/ but I'm not the only one since there's a girl whose birthday is in january and a basketball player in our school whose 18 going to be a senior next year whose birthday was on march.
That $3500, is it just your contribution or between you and your family? Because that's 400 a month. I don't see you doing enough work to make $100 a week unless you're not devoting time to studies or other activities. Surveys. Transcriptions. Writing. Bulk penny hits.
it is between me, my brother, and my mom who is working to help me to go to france. I worry a lot about deadlines which is why I'm going devote a wide load time during this summer to make a lot of money. during the fall I need to study for the act and do football and during the winter i'm doing swimming, business professionals of america and ssike. (diversity group like NAACP. for black people and mexicans)
$100/week is certainly not out of the realm of possibility. I did about $85 last week, $75 the week before. And that's with working a full-time 40+ hour per week job.
