I finally caught this and couldn't pass it up but I HATE surveys where one of the requirements is "you must NEVER have done any HITs for this requester before". I checked my last 45 days history and I'm all clear, but I have no idea if I did something for her 6 months ago. She seems to have been running various lower-paying HITs since June of 2017 (and in 2013 when I was peak Turking, for that matter). If I'm not qualified out or if I don't remember doing the exact HIT before, I'm going in regardless, but it makes me a little queasy with $10 vs. a rejection at stake.

Here was a new one for me last night - there was in Inquisit where you had to manually type your Turk ID (of course) but the Inquisit was set up to cancel without submitting if you hit SHIFT+Q. Of course there are two uppercase Qs in my Turk ID, so it kept just closing the window when I got to them (and of course copy+paste doesn't work in Inquisit). I eventually used caps lock to get my ID in and was able to do the full experiment for 10-15 mins. Then, like a total moron, I decided to use the comments on the demographics page to be helpful and suggest he change the close-window command to CTRL+Q if possible, and I instinctively hit SHIFT+Q while describing the problem. Of course I canceled out again and all my data was lost He wrote back which I appreciate but it's not worth making him set up a compensation hit for $1.25 so I'm gonna let it go. Just friggin' annoying!
That is very annoying! Sorry you had to go through that. MTS Suite has worker ID installed so that when you right-click, it gives you the option of a drop down menu to paste the worker ID. Sometimes this doesn't work on certain pages but it's very helpful. Another option is to copy and paste your ID before going in Inquisit. Not sure if pasting works though.

@Flora--please pass this to Andy-- MTC is using the same software as us, and at the bottom of each page is the list of turkers currently online, same as our old forum. I think it just has to be activated.
