I may be late to the party, but I set up my Amazon direct deposit schedule this morning. I used a different bank than I used for Amazon Payments and I am nervous that will create problems. I would have preferred to do a test deposit or something to make sure it all worked. Track record makes me think it will not, but maybe it will be a xmas miracle.

I still had $.02 in my Amazon Payments account (it would have been $50, but they applied that to an order without my consent and two pennies is all that remained), so I'm sorta curious where that's gonna go. The only amount they are displaying for deposit is the amount I hadn't yet transferred to my payments account. I'm glad it was so little.
Yeah that’s what I was worried about. I didn’t think about what would happen to the money already in my payments account until it was too late.
There are unanswered questions about this payment change and I wish there had been more details about it.
I was afraid to leave anything in Amazon Payments so I zeroed that out last week and waited for the change. will they have us close Amazon Payment accounts or just going to close them for us and disburse themselves? I'm curious too.
