    What is this?

I am Tjbot! I'm a solution devised by the genious mods to prevent there ever being a day that hit threads aren't posted! The whole point of my existence is to post a hit thread if one doesn't exist by 12:08am PST. If you see this post, assume that this one is the main post. One of the mod team will clean up existing posts and consolidate once they wake up and get online. As my name indicates, I am a bot. I don't post, nor do I respond to PM's. If you have any problems, send an email to tjbot@ns4t.net or PM Tjololo, he can help out with any issues.
Want to make tomorrow's thread? Just go for it!

Doing some research on the Spanish Flu which has some similarities to the virus now. The 2nd wave of the Spanish Flu back in 1918 when the virus resurfaced during the fall was the most deadly. This sort of fits what I've been thinking all along. Hot weather prevents the virus from spreading so what's happening now is like the infancy stages. It's going to go away during the summer for the most part and come back during the fall full force. I just hope our leaders know this and don't get too complacent during the summer thinking it's all over. I hope I'm wrong but history is a pretty good indicator of how things are going to go.

Dr. Fuci (or however you spell his name) was just asked that question and he said they completely expect it to hit again in the fall, but they will be completely prepared for it.

They didn't really get hit all that hard did they? Haven't really been following the maps or the news all that much for the past week. I know Wuhan said they beat it and Italy is starting to recover which means in 1-2 weeks we should as well since we are a few weeks behind them. But digging up info on the Spanish Flu the same thing happened 100 years ago. It initially showed up during the spring and went away in the summer and the 2nd wave during the fall was the deadly one. I think we were at war tho so that probably made the 2nd outbreak much worse but still something to keep an eye on. Don't get to comfortable during the summer when cases drop.

I mean hot weather doesn't completely stop it from spreading but it helps for sure. Weather and population density are probably the two biggest factors if I had to guess. If you have a place like NYC where millions of people are crammed in a small area and the weather is cold it's going to spread no matter what you do.
