OK, fine, here, to please Playa_hamm420 we will leave his "old" thread with his "old" issue alone!!! Playa seems to think that anyone with have a brain should be able to do these hits. I haven't gotten a rejection yet, and I'm one of the 37 people that still have the qual. I think GOOD, QUALITY people got screwed with the latest batch of hits! If one just gives it a little thought, they would realize this. Most of us that bother to post to these forums are not scammers. We have submitted high amounts of hit, and have very hit approval ratings. WHY would a person decide that they'd like to through that all away just for fun? I understand if the quality of work is not there, then don't let them work on your hits anymore. Everyone has bad days where they just didn't have enough sleep or coffee! Maybe I'm just naive. It just seems to me that most of the people that got mass rejected do try to give quality work EVERY TIME. That being said, I am very sorry for everyone that has gotten a mass rejection from them. No, I haven't. But it makes me very scared to work on their hits in the future simply because I try to give quality work EVERY TIME I do a hit. And what if my quality work is seen as bad? The reason I like this forum over the "other" one is because I feel like there is no judgement here. MOST everyone is welcoming to others. Even if someone is doing low paying hits MOST of us try to help. So for those that want to play with fire, go ahead. Looks like you will have lots of work to do and little competition for these hits!
Especially for those that have completed thousands of HITs for them and then all of a sudden get mass rejected. No warning, no heads-up, no feedback - just a straight, dry shaft where the sun don't shine.
I have done nearly 10000 of medallia hits. Never come across single rejection. Last couple of days i scared after seeing TO reviews, even those who done thousands of hits gets mass rejections. I send a straight message to medallia about these reviews and also ask them to let me know about their feedback about my work. They(Medallia) said nothing to worry about the reviews as they deserve the mass rejections, and also, given confident to me that i am going in correct way with the hits. But i cant understand, hits are not much complicated, even a basic english learner can do those hits, workers who does thousands of hits approved went to mass rejections. Every time i was bit nervous after submitting mass hits of medallia till all them are approved.

Hello I got 100+ rejections from this last batch Medallia had posted. I've done several other batches they had posted with no issues or prior rejections. I've done thousands of sentiment hits for other well paying requesters whose policies are to pull the qual(which has never happened to me) they've issued to you so you can no longer do their hits if the quality of work you are doing has fallen below what is expected. Word of mouth alone(oh not to mention Turkopticon reviews) has turkers not wanting to do anymore of their hits that combined with Majority Rules, mass rejections, and the dreaded block. This is an instance where the term "a triple threat" would be labeled as a negative sentiment. It is not fully understood what a mass rejection does. I'ts not about the money that was to be made from those rejected hits, it's ALL FUTURE monies that won't get earned because now approval ratings have dropped below what is required by other well paying requesters to do their well paying hits. Money for car payments, food, rent/mortgages and other things needed to maintain a household. Yep, word on the street is, Medallia will screw you over when you least expect it. Medallia says they manually review but they didn't until AFTER I got all those rejections + block AFTER emailed them asking them to review the hits I did. They then said that my error rate was "slightly lower than that of a obvious unreliable worker." I feel the manual review should be done BEFORE the mass rejection. Only results demonstrating insincere effort are blocked. The word insincere needs to be replaced because there was absolutely nothing insincere about the effort I put forth in this batch and all prior batches I've done with this or any other requester. I like so many others take pride in my work, I value my approval rating and don't take for granted what needs to be done to maintain it. We are to judge these varying 1-4 words(sometimes phrases) that have been extracted from a larger context of a hotel review and say whether they are neutral, positive,etc. Sounds easy enough. If I see the term "roaches" I would label that 'very negative.' Why? These are hotel reviews, what can possibly be positive about that? Roaches and hotels don't go together. Am I suppose to think "roaches" came from "I was pleasantly surprised to see the roaches scatter when I turned on the light in the bathroom." Maybe Medallia disagrees, maybe I'm putting way too much thought into this. With that said, does this sound like the mindset of someone who is putting forth 'insincere effort' ? Better instructions and examples should be shown as to what you kind of results you are looking for. If a worker is submitting more quality work,pull their qual so they can't work on your hits anymore. I still have my rejections after Medallia stated to me in an email that they would reverse it. I know for a fact there are 3 ways to do rejection reversals. Let's see who is insincere now.
Well, this isn't the case with everybody I'm sure, so don't get all offended if you've had a mass rejection on these hits, BUT... Many people try to go through tasks way too fast, and make a lot of mistakes. If you make a lot of errors, it makes it look like you are just randomly clicking to finish as many hits as you can as quickly as possible. The majority rules isn't an issue here, as it is CLEAR what option should be selected, and they only manually review if you are flagged for a lot wrong answers. It isn't like a majority rules categorization where there are a dozen categories to pick from and you're rejected because you pick the wrong category.
Get offended because I got a mass rejection? Really? So I"m suppose to just take it? Maybe you but not me. I am not many people, I am one person. I have never randomly clicked anything. I read, speak, write,breathe English as it is the only language I know. We are to judge words for sentiment which can be subjected and won't be fully understood unless it's read in the full context.
I am surprised they reversed Playa's rejections when he is a known scammer and did not do the work correctly, yet for this other poster they will not reverse. Medallia are a bunch of assholes who can suck a fat dick.

Have at em. I will continue to stick with the well paying hits. I don't know why I veered off that path for these guys.

I've done a few hits for Medallia* and they have all been approved. The task was easy enough for me, and relatively quick. Doing the lower paying hits doesn't bother me, to each their own, really. I don't understand why other people get so bent out of shape about it, either. If you don't like them, don't do them, there's no need to shame someone for it ... it's just a HIT on mturk. *253 HITs for Medallia today .... all approved within an hour or two; I had done 67 for them on the 9th and they were approved the following day.
Just because he can do what you can't (make money), doesn't make him a scammer. Go ahead, stick around at the other one and try to make a living writing. Don't forget to stock up on those piggy bank hits
On topic: Playa - I trust your judgment. When my situation changes I'll try to give you a run for your money on HITs like these and others =)

Medallia has reversed my rejections. Thanks for seeing this through. I can't believe you guys do 500-1000+ hits a day and don't even break $20! Man I'm worth so much more than that. Start working SMARTER not harder!
