Hmm i was thinking about this idea, is there anyone from US with a valid bank account wiling to recive payments from mturk workers on his bank account and then resend the money to workers paypal account, with a fee lets say about 5%, i mean i pay some trusted person from here 100$ on his bank account and he pays me 95 on my paypal account, is this posible? Cause im from Croatia, and there is no posibly way for me to get my hands on my money, because amazon.com doesent ship to Croatia, only ships some books, but i dont need any... and with a paypal i could shop from e-bay normaly. I think this would be profitable for the guy who do these transactions, because there are lots of mturkers outside US. There would be some serious earnings from that 5% fee involved. It would be a great buisness to someone.

    Sory for my bad english.

    Regards
    Ivan

It's possible but it's risky. Personally, I wouldn't trust some random person from a forum with my money. But if you want to then that's fine.

    reply

I understand, i wouldnt trust neither, but the person who wants to cheat must understand, that he will be earning more money legaly with that 5% then steling lets say one time 100$, im i right? So fraud is not that much interesting here. And who says we have to send 100$, make it 10$ for 10 times to build trust.... and if anything goes wrong if the person cheats anyone wich i doubt we must have a list of persons who are users of his service, and send them warning emails about a fraud.

And im willing here to be the first one who will pay for the starting 10$ to build trust.

So cheatesr who are reading this post, please be aware that u will earn more money legaly then with a fraud!!!!!

anyone corect me if im wrong,

anyone is welcome to reply, we must solve this issue

I think you can make up to $699.

I'm sure it states somewhere in the TOS about having to live in the United States or have a legal US bank account.

Why can't you buy books? Lots of international users apply the money to their gift certificate balance and order books and other items from Amazon.com. The only problem is they have to pay international shipping rates since the items have to be bought from the US site rather than using Amazon Canada, Amazon UK, Amazon Europe, etc.

Workers can be anywhere in the world, although some HITs require people to be in a particular location. Getting paid actual money, however, is only available for people in the US or India. People elsewhere can use their earnings to buy items from Amazon.com.

Requesters need to be in the US unless they use a service like HIT-builder.com to submit their HITs for them.

The use of an US person to forward money out of the US will not work, as any earnings would be seen as income for that person. Therefore, he/she would have to go through the entire process of registering (including SSN, drivers license etc), and would have to pay taxes on all money recieved.

So, even IF you'd be able to set this up, you would be faced with enormous costs, and would probably only get about 40% on your foreign bank account.

Here is a way to get your money on your paypal account and a prepaid debit card at the same time. This is simple and it works! I have been using this to receive payments for awhile.

First you need to go to PayPal and apply for a Prepaid Paypal Debit Card. (Do not apply for a business card... you can not obtain account info for this card.)To apply, go to www.paypal-prepaid.com.

When you receive your card, activate it online and link it to your PayPal account.

On the same website (paypal-prepaid.com) click on direct deposit, and then on payroll to obtain your account and routing numbers.

With account number, routing number, and driver's license or id in hand, go to your Amazon Payments Account and add a bank account.

They will add two small payments to your account which you will then verify. Your card/account is then activated and you can now deposit funds onto your card, which in turn is also your PayPal account!

I have been using this method for months to receive my mTurk payments. After it's set up...it's smooth sailing! ;)

Andy is partially right except it is dependent on how much money you have made per requester. If you exceed the $699 for any individual requester you will get 1099'ed. I am not positive on this but I am confident with my answer as I did read this from another source, and I made over $5000 last year and I was not 1099'ed. I thought I would have been, but nope, and I didn't make over $699 per individual requester.
